It’s Tuesday night now and I’m getting everything ready for the Austin, Texas marathon this Sunday. I had no idea how far away Texas is from Utah when I signed up for this race. It’s a 21 hour drive to Austin. I could probably drive myself down but then I might be too exhausted to run my best. I already know from past experience there ‘ain’t no way I’m gonna be driving myself home. I have a little 5 speed Saturn Vue which is usually fun to putt around in, but operating a clutch after running 26.2 miles is kind of like medieval torture. My wife refused to let me go alone so I had to enlist my daughter, Danielle, and her husband, Adam, to drive me there. This will be my 3rd state so that means only 47 more to go. Yippee.
You are an inspiration for all. Keep us informed, and when you are in our state–(it changes now and then)– we will do our best to support ya. Go TIM!!!
Awesome goal Tim! I made a goal of running a mud run in a month and I thought that would be tough. You are an inspiration and I can’t wait to see how everything goes!
I love your blog Tim! It is fun & interesting to read. We’re rooting for you 🙂

That was the longest drive of my life, but I’m glad Danielle and I could be there to support you. You are a champ!
