Fake Leg Odometer- My Ossur blade has run more than half way around the Earth

Oh the many miles....

Oh, the many miles…

Just for fun I decided to calculate how many miles I have run on my running blade since I got it in Nov of 2008.Here are my calculations:

2008 266 miles
38 miles per week x 7 weeks (Training runs 6 miles per day weekdays- Sat. 8 miles = 38 miles per week
)

2009- 2015.3 miles
 3 half marathons= 39.3 (Training runs 6 miles per day weekdays- Sat. 8 miles = 38 miles per week= 1976)

2010- 2496.4 miles
 2 marathons = 52.4 (training miles 7 miles per day week days, Sat 12 = 47 miles per week = 2444)

2011- 3122.2
11 marathons= 288.2 (training miles 8.5 miles per day, Sat 12 miles =54.5 miles per week = 2834)

2012 – 2994.2 miles
2 half marathons 6 marathons = 157.2 Training miles 8.5 miles per day, Sat 12 miles =54.5 miles per week = 2834

2013- 3447.3 miles
 11 marathons, 1- half marathon= 301.3(Training miles 8.5 miles per day,Sat 18  miles=60.5 miles per week = 3146)

2014-2433.3 miles
11 marathons , 1 half marathon= 301.3 (Training miles 6 miles per day, Sat 11 miles = 41 miles per week = 2132)

And the total is…………..Drum roll……………… 14490.4 miles.

HOLY CRAP !!!!! That is more than half the circumference of the Earth!  This Ossur running blade is the bomb. I think the blue dragons and flames probably helped a little too.
